June 2 and 3 we took three teams to the Erie Premier Tournament where the level of competition was top notch! We took a U13 Boys, U13 Girls and U15 Girls teams. We never expected to win a premier tournament, but if each player walked away with one thing to work on and one to thing learned it was a successful weekend.  What we learn from weekends like this will only make us stronger!

“As a club, we are not only driven to improve the soccer skills of our individual players on the field, but to provide them with experiences that they can hopefully apply to their other sporting pursuits and life in general. Tournaments such as this not only provide memories that they can cherish a lifetime, but opportunities that we as coaches can use as we help define their growth as both athletes and individuals. The intangibles learned this weekend with regards to winning/losing as a team, character, sportsmanship, hard work, and friendship are immeasurable and can not be found on a score sheet at the end of the day.”~Coach Chitester

“Just like I told the players out of the 3 games that they played, if each one came out with one or two items such as: The way to prepare prior to game, warmup, talking, preparation towards game without coaching etc. I know as a coach I picked up a lot of technical skills, game plays and coaching roles.” ~Coach Kolivas
