We are here to provide you and your family with the best youth soccer experience possible! We believe that through soccer, we can help our players become not only better athletes, but better people as well.
Our coaching team is made up of knowledgeable coaches and athletes that also have experience in "life lessons". At FSC we feel a players character is worth focusing on as well, by developing character we raise the level of performance in our players and our team.

Scott Stone - Head Coach
|

Scott Stone is our Head Coach, President
and founding member of FSC. Scott holds
a National Class D Coaching License.
He has been coaching youth soccer since
2009 and in Frewsburg since 2014.
2016-2017 he was the Head Coach of
Frewsburg Central Modified team where
he coached the 2017 team to an
undefeated season! He was appointed
as the Varsity coach in 2018 where he
brought the team into the sectional finals.
In 2019, the team made it to the Far
West Regionals and in 2020 the team
ended with an undefeated season and
became back to back Section VI
Champions! Scott was named 2019
NYSW Coach of the Year as well as
2019 Post-Journal Coach of the Year.
In 2020, Coach Stone was named
New York State Coach of the Year.
He is a natural with the kids! In a gym
of 95 players you can hear a pin drop
because they hang on his every word.
He is incredibly positive in his feedback
and passionate about his love of soccer
that he shares with the athletes.
Scott played for Jamestown High School
where he twice was the recipient of the
Coach's Award. He traveled to Europe
with is high school team for games and
practice with teams in Belgium,
Netherlands, Germany and England.
After high school he went on to play
soccer for Jamestown Community
College. When not coaching soccer
(which is rare), he was the 2018-2019
Frewsburg Assistant Varsity Girls
Basketball coach, as well as a football
coach for Frewsburg Youth Football!
On a personal note Scott is married to
Leslie, he is a die-hard Bills Fan, father
to a spunky 5 year old little girl,
step-father to 3 young ladies and
one incredibly tolerant son. He is also a
master plumber, owns and operates Stone
Plumbing Co.

Chad Chitester - Assistant Coach
|
|
Chad Chitester is our Assistant Head
Coach, Vice President and founding
member of FSC. Chad holds a National
Class D Coaching License. Chad has been
involved in youth soccer since 2007.
In 2016-2017 he served as Assistant
Girls Modified Coach at Frewsburg
Central School. In 2018, he served as
the Frewsburg Modified Girls Coach
and led them to an undefeated season. Chad graduated from Frewsburg where
he lettered in football, basketball, and
baseball. He continued his baseball
career at the collegiate level but left
the game to advance his academic
pursuits graduating from Western
Michigan University with a degree in
medicine. Having him on the sidelines
during a game time injury is a comfort
to the players and parents. He has also
perfected the art of taping ankles and
bandaging blisters!
Chad is married to Jackie and has two
daughters in high school. When not
coaching soccer you can usually find
him in an empty gym with the girls
playing basketball or practicing softball,
his other passions.

| Ryan Deppas- Boys Head Coach | | Ryan Deppas is our Boys Head Coach
and an FSC board member. This is Ryan's
2nd year coaching for FSC and he was
also the 2018-2020 Frewsburg Girls
Varsity Assistant Coach. Ryan holds a
National Class D coaching license.
Ryan began playing soccer year at age
5 in the JAYS summer and winter soccer
leagues, he continued playing in JAYS
until he was 15. At age 10 he started
playing travel soccer for SC United and
continued with that until through U17.
From ages 11-16 he also played for the
Erie Admirals Club Team, where as a
U15 team they won the Indoor National
Championship in Chicago and later that
year came in 3rd place at the Outdoor
National Championship at Disney's
Wide World of Sports in Orlando.
Ryan also went on to play collegiate
soccer for JCC, and continues playing
in the adult men's power league to this
day.

Brett Cappa - Goalie Coach
| | Brett Cappa is our Goalie Coach and
founding member of FSC. The experience
Brett offers our team invaluable.
You have to have a certain personality
to be a goalie and Brett brings that out
in our players.
He himself was a goalie for Jamestown
so he knows the dedication it takes to
excel in this position. Brett played goalie
for the Jamestown Red Raiders in high
school and was starting goalie for the
Red Raiders varsity team starting in his
junior year. He is credited with giving
Jamestown High School it's first ever
Class A playoff shutout in a sectional
semi final! Brett went on to play club
level soccer at Edinboro University
Brett is married to Jess, their girls
play on the U12 and U16 teams, so
he will be around for a while! |

Spyros Kolivas - Boys Coach
|
|
Spyros Kolivas is our Boys Coach,
he has been around soccer since it
was invented...well maybe not that long.
He was born in Lefkas Greece. Spyros
learned to play the game of soccer at
age of 5 and played club soccer in Greece
until he was 13 years old. In 1966 he
move to Montreal Canada where he
played club soccer, was on the high
school team, and went on to play at
Dawson College for four years. After
college he played semi pro soccer in
Montreal for 2 years. In 1977 he
married Rosary and moved to
Jamestown, New York where they
still live today. They have 2 grown
children and 4 grandchildren who
affectionately refer to him as Papou.
Coach Kolivas coached the JAYS
program and Jamestown High School
program over a 29 year period and
coached several of our coaches during
his time as Jamestown's Head Coach.
He has been out of the coaching circuit
for a few years, but has come out of
retirement to be a part of FSC. He
brings his years of experience plus
a little "old school" charm that we are
sorely missing these days and loved by
our players. |
